I'm Back!

I've decided to start blogging again for the millionth time. I should really learn to stick with these things. Most of the time I jump from one blogging site to another posting random blogs until I get bored, quit blogging and then start again on another site. So I am going to make this my proper one. No more hoping around the Internet for me. (Yeah even I don't believe me)

So I've been a seriously lazy writer lately and I mean more lazy than what I usually am, which is pretty bad. I have been working on the development of Maglish though which is at least something. I need to get back into writing properly again. I'll probably get back into the swing of things once I am back at university on Monday and I have an actual schedule. Maglish is coming along pretty well though. The grammatical rules are more concrete now it is just a case of building up the general vocabulary.
(In case anyone didn't know Maglish is my own personal language I made up myself to use in my novels and short stories)

On the good news front I haven't broken any of my new years resolutions yet. I've been behaving myself by not eating that much junk food and I have even dropped a jeans size. Yeah...I've been a fricken angel this year. I just have to get something published this year and I will be happy. It shouldn't be so hard right? (famous last words....)

Well I think that is all I have to say for today.

In a Real Writing Mood

Moments ago I finished writing an entry in my dairy, a real life collection of my thoughts, thoughts that I dare not expressed in any of my blogs. Mainly it is a collection of my moanings, my complaints about the world around as well as the people who inhabit my world, though small it maybe. Writing in this journal has re-sparked my love of writing, as my concentration lately has been lacking. I guess all I needed was inspiration. Funny the inspiration that you can find in your everyday life. Am I so vain that I must write about my own life continuously? Or is it writing that I am addicted too? I seem to have this constant need to write, to scribble down everything and anything that pops into my head, whether that be fictional or a part of my day to day existence. I guess it is the writing. In fact that is probably my true addiction, not caffeine, not chocolate, but writing.

Not Working?!? A First Time For Everything

Just thought that I would jot down my new approach to writing. Since I am also finished the re-draft of my first novel I thought that I would take a break and do a bit more research before going any further. It has gotten to the point were I feel as though I am forcing the words to come out of me. It isn’t writers block; it is something else, a severe case of writer’s boredom. For the time being I shall read about myths and legends to see if I can find any juicy details that I may wish to wrap into my own twisted little world.

Watching Secret Window Again for Some Reason

Ahhhh I have so much to do before going back to classes tomorrow. I am currently sitting with wet hair and a very untidy room, both of which have to be remedied for tomorrow. I am kinda excited about going back to university, mainly to show off my new school supplies and see my class mates. The sad thing is that I seem to get more excited by a new notebook than seeing an actual person. I need a life BADLY!

Well I think I should start cleaning. It would be so much easier if I wasn't sitting watching my favourite film, its a little distracting. But as old as Johnny Depp is he is still yummy :D

Oh here is the url to the rabbit care article I wrote last week:

Why Am I Writing This?!?!

This is another procrastination blog. Funny how you don't want to write to your blog until you try to do some actual work and then get distracted. Also I have a HUGE headache which really isn't helping me at all! Must...finish...this...chapter!

My day pretty much rocked to day. Woooo Hooo! Went to Spurs, an American restaurant, in case you didn't know. I never thought I would be able to eat a whole half a chicken, but apparently I can.

My boyfriend is AWESOME! (I am just putting that in here because I know that he reads my blog. I saw it in his Internet favorites when I was snooping...hopefully he wont read that part)

Right now I am watching YouTube tributes to Tonks and Remus from Harry Potter. I don't know why, I am more of a Snape fan. But if I had to think about it I would say that Lupin is either my 2nd or 3rd favorite Harry Potter character, along with Hermione.

Well I think I should get back to work

PS I wrote an article on rabbit care this evening. Sadly it hasn't been posted online by the site editor so I shall stick up a link when it gets put up.

Slytherin Pride Yo!

I am returning from a fun filled weekend of nothing but Harry Potter movies. What more could a girl ask for? Well...maybe a life....but aw well. I think a lot of my blogs are going to be Hogwarts related for a while. I cant help it just seems to be all that I am doing right now, either that or writing or hanging out with my boy friend. Luckily I mixed watching Harry Potter all weekend with his wonderful company. Who could ask for much more?

Well at the moment I am currently on the hunt for a job. Yes another one. My current job has cut back my hours so much lately that I have not worked in over three weeks. I even called down to my work yesterday to collect my pay slip for this month and they didn't have it. My mum was saying that I should call into some employment agencies to see if they have any part time computer work going. I am a computer science student after all. Working in a computer environment shouldn't be too difficult, after all I have done it before.

So What to Write Today??

It has surprised me the amount of time that my university has given me off after my exams. I guess that might have been a benefit of my class having their exams so early in January. When you have spent your Christmas holiday studying they give the same length of time off school after your exams. That theory makes more sense in my head but oh well. It is probably just because all the other classes are still doing exams that there is no one to teach us.

Well since being off university I have several things done, I finally finished a short story that I have been working on for months. By working on I mean that I wrote it ages ago and never got around to redrafting it until now. I am starting to miss my old work placement where they basically let me sit at a desk and write all day. I got so much accomplished there. The only problem with that job was that the person I had to share an office with was a royal pain in the ass and I wanted to throw my monitor at her (which I didn't do by the way). Hopefully I will get more done during my break. I would love to get at least half way through the rewrite of my first novel. It annoys me how often that I rewrite some of my work but every time I do it gets that little more perfect. This time will be the last, but then again, I said that last time.

The main highlight of my January break is the amount of time that I have gotten to spend with my boyfriend. Not to mention that after my months of begging and annoying has finally started to read the Harry Potter novels. If I am going to be addicted to a series he might as well be too. When he hasn't been reading he has been attending him business classes to start up his own studio. He's a photographer and has been working freelance for a while so finally getting his own studio set up would make his life so much more easier.

With all this talk about business I have been coming up with a few of my own ideas. I would love to do them but with my writing and studying commitments I doubt that I ever will. Firstly I would love to start up my own little cafe, nothing fancy just a small place for people to sit and read in while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. I am a pretty good cook so starting up my own cafe/restaurant would be pretty fun, not to mention playing to my strengths. Also I would love to start a rabbit hotel. I could mind people's pet rabbits and other small animals while they are away on holiday. I love rabbits, I have one myself, who is currently sitting beside me munching on a rather large piece of celery I gave her.

I think that should be enough of my waffle for today xRx
